Not at all, I got it done at a place called Tuff - Coat Paint & Body for $500 believe or not, I had originally found out about the place when I was at a local car show and saw a 4.0 with gold stripes painted on and thought it was an excellent job and had asked the owner of the car who also ended up being the owner of the bodyshop, where and how much he got it done for, two days later my car was in the shop getting the stripes put on lol. I didn't even hesitate because around here I had been looking for a while to get stripes painted on but the cheapest I could find was $1200, so the second I found out about the $500 cost I was locked in to get it done. BTW I would also like to note that apparently after I had reffered a two friends of mine who also got it done there, a vista blue with white pearl stripes and yellow with black stripes, the owner decided that he now will only do the stripes for $700 because of how time consuming it is to get the stripes done properly but hey I'd say that's still an excellent price.

Looks so good that I almost did not recognize the German car in the garage.
Lol yea the boxster is my father's weekend toy, wish I could bring that thing up to college with me along with the stang. :P

Guess the body shop guy figured out he was underpricing himself. Maybe he found out what other places were charging for the same stripes and decided he could make more. You were lucky to get them at $500. Do you get a cut for each person you send to get the stripes painted on? You should as your car is doing his advertising.

Yea I can definitely agree with that statement, I still can't believe I got them done for $500, but hey like I said I still think $700 is a good buy anyways, as for the cuts yea I wish I were getting some because like I said I already within one week got two of my buddies to go in and get work done with him, plus I go to many car shows and I tend to be a billboard for his work now, but when I last talked with him he said he would give me discounted prices for any other body and paint related things that I would like to get done. Hello quarter window louvers and side scoops.
