Those 3.8L engines are really good engines. I had a Pontiac bonneville with a 3.8, People were running mid 13s with that car and its a 4 door. Now before anyone says anything about pontiac being a GM car,... keep in mind Ford bought the design from GM. I've seen 3.8l Mustangs run high 12s. Thats really good for a good ol 6 banger.

Yeah, isnt the 3.8L design out of a buick regal or something like that. Either way, its a strong block, its a good starting ground, but like most v6s it doesnt respond to mods as well as a GT or V8 engine would.

a 4.6 block itself is good, it's just the pistons, rods and crank that suck balls.
