My daily job is taking care of animals in store. Reptiles, 258 fish tanks, small animals, birds, etc for $7.50 an hour but I dont do it for the money. I just like animals. My other job is working for my dads company when I feel like it. $38.00 an hour and money to cover travel ( I write the miles traveled down on the pay slip and they factor it in ) The days are kind of long though, sometimes 13 hours and the events can be a few days long. I can make about $494 in one 13 hour day though so thats nice and I guess its worth it...

Im trying to save my money for now though

I recently started working offshore. I set up systems that monitor hydrogen sulfide, a chemical that comes out of the ground when you drill for oil or natural gas, and can kill you. I train all the employess on it and pretty much sit around every day. I may actually work 2 hours in a day, but I bill the rig for 18 hours a day. That's 126 hours a week. I may do 10-14 hours worth of actual work in that time. Since I started doing this I am now able to afford all kinds of cool as mods, such as a stroker motor for both the Bullitt and the 6er, twin turbos for the Bullitt, and maybe one day, a twin turbo kit for the 6.

It's just rough on me and my girlfriend, since I'm offshore for weeks at a time, but she likes it when I buy her coach, fendi, gucci and **** like that.

Ryan

I haven't been back here to read this thread in a while. But I got a new job in the beginning of August. Working as a lot man at a Dodge dealership, I make $8 an hour. I work 52 hours a week most of the time, and I have done that for the past three weeks. That's $1200 for three weeks. But I got into an accident before I started working there, so I haven't had the car back to do anything to it. I think I'll be saving up for a 5.0 fox and keeping my car.

$8 an hour for manager is pretty bad considering what Starbucks, Publix and UPS pay their lowest level employees

I'm working at Office Depot.. Just started last month or so, and I'm currently at $8.00 / hour.. and around 50 - 70 hours every 2 weeks.. Usually every paycheck is about $450 +

All I do really is talk to people all day, Make some copies, and check people out.

But I stopped spending money on my Stang's.. and I'm currently selling my 5.0 Still not sure what I'm going to be doing with the money if I sell it, if I want another mustang, or another bike.

does anyone know of any gigs that are just great money for doing not a whole lot of work?  Like a best buy, or a jasons deli, where's a good place to work at?  I'm working at a mexican restaurant right now, but I get 2.13/hr and for tips, I make anywhere from $14 a night to like $70 a night when I close.  I really need a more constant source of income, as I've got insurance due, and I want to get some money to buy some a set of chrome saleens a guy is selling here for 700 bucks with nice goodyears on the front, and nitto 555 drag radials on the back.  hehe, I don't need those, and they'd have to be replaced pretty soon, but I'd love to drive around on drags for a while.  I also umpire where I make +- 15 bucks an hour, but I don't get my paycheccks til the end of the season, which kind of sucks, even thought they are usually very large. haha
