Iwas talkingwith one of the owners of the Nascar team I work for and he saw my car for the first time today. He asked me how much power I was making, and I kind of hesitated and said well I had about 300rwhp with my catted X-Pipe but I put the o/r H-Pipe on in the shop about 4 weeks ago, so I told him I didnt know for sure. He goes, "well, I guess we will just have to put it on our dyno next week". So I get to turn the dyno drums again next week. Although it is a different dyno, which may give different results than the other one, I get to see if the o/r H-Pipe is more or less efficient than the catted X-Pipe. Im excited...
You should see if they can help you build your motor, have the price of a build is in the labor, you'd save a sh!t load!
I thought all about this stuff when I took the job. I didnt realize/understand how different the motors in the race cars are from the street cars. I knew they would be different but damn! haha... The guy thats going to dyno my car is probably the smartest person regarding engines I have ever met. He knows damn everything about everything. Its rediculous actually. Ill ask him to see what he can do to tweak some stuff around for me to make sure Im getting my full potential of horsepower. Next summer when I come back, I will have saved up for the stroker kit and will install it with some of the engineers.

Those NASCAB guys might not know what to do w/ a fuel injected engine.
I thought the same things...most of the old school engineers there know nothing about them but some of the newer generation guys know what theyre doing with injectors...but man oh man do they know carburetors haha

That's way cool, Mickey. Good for you! Let us know how it goes.

Haha fair enough Amy. I just didn't care to show any hospitality towards someone who joins the forums to sell their car and just throws some jiberish at us...idk...sorry haha (sometimes, Im just too lazy to use grammar, as im sure u can all relate)
