Ive decided that I would like to go all motor with my 3V (at least until I have to have more power). Right now I am sitting at 300rwhp with plans/hopes of reaching 400rwhp N/A. I know it can be done but it will take lots of money that will be worth spending in the future. The point of this thread is to GET ANY input from all you guys out there as to which N/A mods will help reach my goal. I already have my current mods listed in my signature and here are some more I plan on purchasing in the near future...please, please dont hesitate to add any input regarding this entire thread.
Future Mods:
1) LT Headers
2) Stage 3 Cams
blah blah blah...you know the rapsheet
I may be wrong, and hopefully for your sake I am , but I believe the only way to reach 400 rwhp N/A is by rebuilding the block. Now I could be wrong, but you already have most HP adding mods on a N/A car that will boost your performance by a lot. Everything else from here on out is small HP gains unless you add a blower or build it.
Save you money till you canget a blower......nothing will compare tobolting on an additional 100 hp and the gobs of low end torque.
if you want 400 rwhp on the stock engine...probably the only way with be with a little laughing gas.
Good luck with you build up...I am currently eyeing the JDM and THR blower deals.

Yea after rereading what I wrote yesterday, I dont know how I forgot to mention boaring/stroking the engine. I do realized I have to do this to get to this mark. Anyone know how much power this kit would add? stroker

That stroker kit come with stickers? If so I can guarantee the stickers will get you 20hp each ...oh wait sorry, the 20hp sticker rule only applies to foreign-made cars
Just do whatever it is the PJs do to their motors.....then add 75 hp .
On a serious note, to get there NAed, you would have to go higher flow everything (heads, intakes, exhaust, etc....) with mods to support the increased flow. Likely to the point where it would start to not resemble the motor you have.
True. I would like to definitely make 375rwhp before adding forced induction. I believe if I add cams, long tube headers, throttle body, and stroke her to a 347, I will be in the ballpark for sure. Any thoughts?
