one more thing... i will not trade in my mustang for a bow-tie! i am very proud of my 07 v6 and if i spend the $5600 that is the price difference, my v6 will out run alot of stuff that should not. i also have a shaker scoop/induction on my pony and it looks sweet and it is real! i have the black stripes and gt wheels. plus a hurst shifter! when i drive by , everyone looks. when i punch 3rd, it hauls ass! i, myself, i have standards. i would not own a piece of rice. the only bowtie i have owned could not take the pounding it recieved. it died at the 150,000. the tranny was bad, it just couldn't hang long term. and i was not that hard on it. i personally think that you are a rice lover and a mustang hater. lol just kidding. we are here to have fun and feel good. why try to feel better by hurting someones feelings. if you want to do that, do it in a race!.... and besides, if your car is faster than my pony, i have a 76 trans am with a 455bb and a t-10 4-speed. tangle with my ta and see the outcome. lol it is for sale by the way. lol

observation#1: stock v6 is slower that '07 v6camry :-))))) on paper and in reality. get over it.
observation#2: all v6 modifiers wish they had a GT anyways.
observation#3: alot of people will be traiding their mustangs for challengers/400hpcamaros
observation#4: stripes/chins/spoilers/fake hoods look no better on v6'stang then they do on ricer's civics

#1 you may be right but I'm not spending $30K on a 4 door with and extra 60 HP
#2 I really don't wish I had/have a gt I'm happy with my Modded V6

says the guy that thinks he can go 80 in second gear. I don't wish i had a gt. If i did, i would have one, it's that simple. I have absolutely no problem with the top model, considerably more expensive toyota camry being slightly faster than a stock 4.0. I personally would never spend 30k on a camry when i could get an evo for that price, but to each his own. i didn't realize that there was such a thing as a fake hood though, and i didn't think stripes were that ricey if done right on any car. I think you sir are a lying deusch bag. I'd completely beleive a death story stock for stock, because with equal drivers, it should happen, but going 80 in second in a 4.0 with the stock 3.31:1s....well let's just say you'd need 28" rims to do that ****.

go back and re read that article. cop cars aren't meant to go around turns. the article says on a freeway an eclipse GT or a miata would be caught on the freeways. those cars have some nice acceleration but crap out on top speed.
now when i rev it, i switch gears from 2nd to 3rd at 40 MPH, 40-60 i'm switching to 4th. once i hit 80 i'm at 5th. try that. you get more torque.
and remember how this cars being compared. sure the car has more HP than our mustangs but look at the torque it's basically equal and if the guy has an auto tranny he's losing a lot of it through friction and so forth. this should have been an equal race if not a winning one...the negative comments the guys are making on you're driving use that as a way to improve.
if you have a grudge match with your buddy, switch into 3rd when you hit 40, 4th in 60, 5th in 80. that should be a good gearing swtich.
