Hey, I come from Joliet, Illinois but unfortunately I'm stuck in Iowa for the time being. I drive and obsess over a 1990 5.0 LX with only minor modifications that I bought from an older cousin. Both the car and the old driver are responsible for properly raising me to be a muscle car (especially mustang) enthusiast and never stooping to the import world. For starters I have a question. I'm thinking about buying either a MAC or BBK cold air intake kit and need to know if I can clean/oil the filter with my K&N stuff, or do I need to buy new oil and cleaner?
During the year I'm up in Ames, so I'm right close to you if you need any help. I would save your money on a CAI and just stick with you K&N filter. If you're dead set on an intake, get a densecharger.
