yes i kno mine and probably everyone else's is like 116.. and no, you have no damn business goin that fast on the public roads (unfortunately i have on the interstate a handful of times).. BUT the point of the story is this kid has a 2004 dodge neon sxt and claims he can easily go 120 limited AND can beat the v6 new edge.. the only mods to his car are the ricer body kit and mine is the air silencer removed.. no i'm not gonna waste my time racin a ricer either... just wanna know the truth here from some car savy guys (and girls)

interesting... i know that the srt neon (even tho not so sporty looking - is a def. sleeeper) can seriously run high/mid 13s stock which is damn good for most cars. but his car that i'm talking about only has 132 hp and 130 lbs. of torque- yeah it's reallylight, but still i think that's kinda embarassing if it thats much better thaneven the 99-04 v6 mustangs.

They top out at about 140ish, I think. With the limiter off, of course.

Your V6 is faster. And tell him he's a high school cheerleader for owning a Neon.

[sm=icon_rock.gif]lmao! yeah, i though so... i just don't think i should be goin 140 down a public highway (my dad gets pissed when i drive 90 on the interstate, but he claims he did 160 in his '70 gto judge back in the day... WHY DID HE SELL IT, AHHHHHH!!!!! [sm=smiley19.gif][sm=smiley19.gif]). i though this wasa bs ricer claim - so i guess it is. and btw, that ricer vidi've seen like 30 times, but is still just as good as the first

to clarify something... it's kinda not related, but my dad had a lower gear ratio put in the gto... he said it was so-so for a drag car b/c it was so damn heavy, so he turned into into a "cruiser" - he also had had a '67 mustang notchbackand dropped the 427 (425 actually.. lol) in it, but crashed the damn thing.. sucks. i wish we could pick up bitchin cars for under 5k these days [:@]

I wonder if the sn95's have a speed limiter. I know my car doesn't have a rev limiter, so how could it have a speed limiter...

Fastest I've been is about 105 +/- a few mph considering my eyes were on the road, not on my speedo.
