This year I'm going to have Metals III and Wood II (which I'm sure the teachers will let me transfer over), so I'm going to have the time to make whatever I can. I plan on making an intake spacer if I can get the proper metal. Is there anything else I can make for my car? I really want to start working on the M112 project since a guy named Tim whose mom works with my grandmom (weird how we found that out) has it done and he only lives 10 minutes away. I'm sure he could help too, but what else can I make meanwhile?
And don't say "you won't need an intake spacer if you put an M112 on". I'll end up selling that to someone on here anyway.

Good idea! I can't see myself doing the buttons, but the e brake, headlight knob, door pins, turn signal cover, and tilt steering wheel lever are possible. I could do those on a lave, or I can make a mold and fill it with metal. That would probably be the quickest way, but cheaper is by doing it on a lave and making them myself. That way its my work, and I'm not stealing it from a company. Would anyone want some of these parts? I wouldn't do the door pins for you guys though, they're just too small and time consuming for me to do, plus they only cost $10 from American Muscle, I'm not sure on the headlight knob though. It's $10 but a worthwhile project.
Raz, they use phenolized metal which is supposedly hard to heat up. But that's expensive. If its what amrcnidyot says and the metal doesn't matter I'll make them out of aluminum or whatever. And I didn't say just any metal, I said "proper metal", which I meant as the phenolized crap.

Can you make me a billet "pony" for my grille delete, billet "tri-bar emblems and a billet Ford emblem for the rear? Also a billet Escape V6 emblem (see my sig). I'm trying to de-chrome my car. I like the satin look a lot better. The emblems are the only chrome left and then I'm getting anodized black lug nuts with my new wheels.

I might be able to, what color would you want it in? Just plain old polished up aluminum?

the stuff they use is actually plastic. phenolic is a type of plastic. it does keep the upper cooler but most of the gains will come from increased runner length. the thing about useing aluminum is that you need to use something thats not gonna get messed up w/ the heat and the differnt metalls used on the upper and lower intakes. talk to ssm or lilroush or somebody about what kind of aluminum to use.
Intake manifold spacer
Under drive pully
a plate for your shifter instead of the plastic cover
metal plate for heater/ ac
spoiler
rocker panels
back seat deleat
cage?
If your in a good metal shop and you have the skills even more the imigation you can do anything.
