A 2007 study found on average Australians walk 900 miles a year. We drink 26 gallons of beer. That means, on average, Australians get about 34 miles per gallon. Not bad hey!
Here is a shot of mine. I did this 15 years ago while building the engine. Had a lot of grease and oil to get out and did it by hand. Used semi gloss from a spray can. Looks ok for an amateur. Car has pretty much sat in the garage since but am now working on it to get it back on the street. dan
Not much new since I posted last year, but I just put on a new Cobra air cleaner and it looks much nicer, thanks to a generous forum member. Yeah, I have to bolt down the monte carlo bar.. Anyone interested in my year old Moroso clear anodized aluminum air cleaner?
Here is my 289. Its sitting in my 67 convertible project car that I unfortunately am now getting ready to sell. Sad. Anyway, I had planned to put a 351W in her. But then decided that keeping the original 289 would be better. (I know some of you authentic type guys will appreciate). So, I had planned to have the motor rebuilt. Of course now they are all just "would haves".
This is my 302 in a 1972 Mach1. Stock Block and internals. Edelbrock performer intake, Holley 4160 Carb-soon to be replaced. Headers-unknown brand. Ford Racing Cobra aircleaner. Interior of bay painted semigloss Krylon black.
