Speaking off the CTS-V what do you guys think is a better american saloon car.

The new SRT-8 Chrysler 300C  or the Cadaliac CTS-V?

I like the CTS-V..there nothing wrong with any of the SRT8 Vehicles though...The SRT8 Charger looks Damn good...but it needs to gain it's soul back and go with 2 doors instead of 4.

I have no experience with either car.  I think the CTS-V makes a nice cruiser/lux sedan..........the SRT-8 makes a better musclecar.

But if I had to pick one to park in my driveway it'd be the SRT-8.  I'm sorry, most of the new Caddies look like crap IMO, while the SRT-8 just exudes badass-ness.  Yea...........I'm shallow.

We were actually thinking about one of those too, but the fact that they are only offered in auto kinda turned me off. I don't know, though, we'll see. I just found a dealer online about an hour away that has a used CTS-V, so I think I'm gonna go drive it. I haven't had any luck finding any SRT8's. Thanx for all the advice guys....

Oops............holy crap.  Reading Comprehension > Me.  I had it in my head we were comparing the SRT8 Charger and the Caddy CTS-V.  I withdraw my observations..........the 300C's don't do anything for me.

Well, we were thinking about both the 300C and Charger SRT8's. But there's already two Charger SRT8's where I live, a black one and a red one. So I would have to buy a silver one. I absolutely HATE having a car I know someone else has, to the point I won't even buy one.....

Going from a 350Z to a SRT-8 would really be night and day. SRT-8 pretty good straight line speed not so much in the twisties. 350z cool twistie's car, a little light in the straight line stuff.

McLaren F1.

Oh, and btw, I drove a 2006 300C SRT8 a few days ago, and absolutely loved it. The car had a Mopar cai and stainless steel catback already installed. It sounded great. Moved out pretty damn well, too. I though I wouldn't like the auto, but it's has great throttle-response and tip-in. When you mash it, that bish rolls out. I was really impressed by it. Couldn't find a CTS-V, so the SRT8 is opur top candidate now. We also drove-

A new Trailblazer SS: Pretty sweet, but still an SUV.....

A new Charger RT: Did not impress me one bit. Felt heavy, ponderous. And the Hemi actually felt kinda weak, too....

Infiniti G35 Sedan: Liked it a lot more that I thought. Nice interior, nice ride, plenty of power, and handled real well. And considering it was 11 grand cheaper than the SRT8, I'm def not ruling it out.....

My moms friend has a G35 sedan and the new ones are pretty quick. The salesman hit 120 in it when he was showing us how fast it was.

Yeah, the one we drove was an '05 AT. They're not as guick as the new '07's, but still. It honestly felt like it had more balls than the Charger RT. It didn't compare to the 300C, of course. 450hp in a big, 4-door sedan is riot.....

bringing an old thread back..... I have thought of a killer matchup IMO

98-02 LS1 Fbod A4 vs. 06-07 LS2 Trailblaser SS (only comes in auto)

these two cars are damn close in time and trap IMO

13.5-13.7 @ 100+ it would seem like with the trailblazer

what kind of times do the A4 Fbods turn over?

Ive seen numerous unskilled owners turn 13.5~6 @ 103~104mph bone stock...
