That tranny is nuckin futz....it'd take some getting used to.  It reminds me of missing a gear....only you're still accelerating.  Or running out of gear.  Most of you guys probably don't know what that's like, you silly 5/6 speed cars.  3 speed FTW!

OK guys, lets not get too stupid in here. BSing abot cars is one thing, but just posting stupid crap about a damn Geo Metro will get this thread shut down.

Ok  Metro or Yugo? In the 1/8 mile of course Cause I'd get bored if I had to watch them run the 1/4.

No joke, my buddy's dream car is a Ford Festiva with s80r motor that runs 9s with traction because it weighs as much as a large turd.

I will let this go untill it becomes out of hand. I don't want just random BS and post whoring in here. Lets at least keep the it about car stuff in general, no girlfriend bs, wife bs or political crap will be allowed. I want you guys to police yourselves on this and if you see any ot O/T post whores in here being retards let me and I will deal with them. BTW fiad, I changed the title a bit so as not to attract the O/T morons.

Did you guys hear the closing remarks of the Democratic Political Debate last night?  Sen. Biden said the only thing he liked about Kucinich was his wife!

You guys just could not help it could you? I went out on limb for you guys, to have general thread about car BS and some of you had go and ruin it. Did you not think I was being serious? This thread was not made so that you guys could inflate your post count, or so there could be a S&S O/T area. I brought it up to the mods that maybe we could have a S&S general section, because most of the guys in here don't venture to other parts of the site, but now I don't know if that's such a good idea.

maybe this thread would be better off in the TeamRacing section?  although its almost dead in there, at least most respected members are allowed in there.

mm...back on track again.  while not the most exciting race, any thought about a new Altima V6 CVT tranny'ed vs. a 07 Camry v6?

V-6 is for real drivers. Go buy a Jetta if you want gas mileage and a chicks car. Buy a V-8 Mustang if you have no driving ability and need the extra horsepower to compensate and feel like you''''''''re fast.

I've asked this before, but do any of you live in Texas [I know JD, Bluebeast and Doodad don't...]

I've recently done a few things and looking to run a few mustangs...new or old, doesn't matter.

I have always loved the mustang and sometimes regret selling my GT...

Got one for you guys, but there isnt a whole lot of good data to go on, so throw out some ideas.

A friend of my gf's brother has a restored/modded '72ish Trans Am with a built 455 i believe..

he drives it everywhere in the summer to the avail of 9-10 miles per gallon...

My gf's brother, AND his cousin rode in it the other day, and said that it HAULED ASS..... the cousin said it would blow my gf's brothers LT1 Trans Am out of the water..

I believe that on the 19th of August we're gonna try to go together down to Muncie maybe with some others as well, but assuming decent traction, what would you guys expect to see a large firebird of the sort with big horsepower runnign at the track?

I guessed maybe mid 13's because of the traction issues?
