mystic chrome is actually not overrated. according to http://www.yellowmustangregistry.com/Production04Cobra.html only 515 mystic chromies where made. that makes it not overrated IMO. Nice car by the way BLWNSN8K.

I think that mystichrome is the greatest paint scheme ever lol. I think its just gorgeous, I wonder how much it would cost to get that paint job?? Just wondering, I don't have the cash, but if I did thats what I would go with it. So yea how much do you think it would cost??

Thanks Guys for the Complements, Thats why I bought One, Kinda Unique too me and I Love It, It's a definite Show Piece for me. As far as the Cost, I've heard that if you were to get one painted from Scratch,It's about 7K, I've heard it like 500.00 Bucks a Quart. It was a $3850.00 Option on the Window Sticker.

When I was looking to get my GT, whenever I would go to the dealership I would always use the entrance that would take me past a mineral grey (i think) saleen, then a mystichrome cobra and finally this orange saleen . Then reality hit and I would have the salesman take me out to my lowly GT lol. Don't get me wrong tho, I love my GT. But after passing those cars, it was kindof disheartening lol

Price is correct. My brother paints cars and he says not only is the paint expensive but it takes multiple extra hours of work to get it to look right. He says its cheaper to get a custom job donr in 5 million differnt colors the one base coat of mystichrome. (he built it up quite good as not all facts are truly fact but its epensive **** if you know what I mean)

mystichrome!!!!!!!!! Best paint on a stang. Or maybe a two tone flame job, light blue, red, yellow, black, with darker blue, red, yellow, black.

yea, im a pretty big fan of the mystchrome too, but like someone else said, 3800 bucks is a lot of money,
thats more than a third of what i paid for my car, and oh yea

atlantic99, i agree atlantic blue, well, two of the three shades of it are sweet..
i like yours, the dark one, i have a mid atlantic blue gt, but im not a big fan of the regular atlantic blue, its way to easterish, like an easter egg or something, oh well
