Never thought I would see the day that someone would be trying to talk someone into buying a Civic on a mustang forum.

Lmao, not trying to talk him into it, just saying that that is what I am considering, and defending why I am doing it. Thankfully, the wiser members know my reasoning behind it.

well i have answers to some of your questions
you need to carry 3 people? pick the hottest girl, the two others are either dudes or a fat chick
as for the luggage thing i think youd be **** outta luck...

but heres an idea
buy the crotch rocket and a car
use the crotch rocket when its short little trips that dont needs people to be hauled or stuff to be towed
then when you actually have to do somthing use the car

i mean if you think about it youd use the bike alot more
think about all the driving you do
now think about how many times there people in the car with you or your carrying a bunch of junk

the bikes gonna come in more

but anyway im tired of arguing my point hell by all means get a vespa, ive seen a gang of mexicans ride around on those

but screw the civic, support america
buy the escape or the mariner

How about I take your advice and buy the bike AND the Civic? Sorry guy, but go look them up. $22,000 for navigation + 51 mpg is good enough for me. That and the crotch rocket? Deal.

Don't need navigation, but it definitely doesn't hurt the car in my eyes. Ford ranger and a bike? Sorry guy, I did the whole '88 Ranger thing as my first truck. Cool paint scheme ... Was 3 colors. Light blue, faded light blue, and rust. I'll never own another ranger in my life. The Civic will last longer than the ranger (Although that little truck was running deep into 2004), and will get MUCH better gas mileage, and also look much better IMO.

Civic > Ranger.

It's not like I'm going to be going out and buying a big wing, lowering it, putting a turbo, and a bunch of stickers ...... Although ...

I've considered hybrids as well, but their added cost for repairs and what not has kept me away from them.

Im 17.. buying a crotch rocket for short trips and a car for long trips doesnt make sense. My trips are usually short anyway and I live in washington state.. its july and its rained like almost everyday. Im looking for edge GTs and 6s aswell as z28s and 6s (the later model camaro 6s make more power but the edges have more modding options in my opinion, look wise and performance wise... the camaros exhaust design is rediculous tho...)

Ehhh.... not my cup of tea, but good luck, just be prepaired to drop more money into a car than you could of ever imagined, just don't say we didn't warn ya. Oh, BTW, you're gonna need new heads and a 4 barrel carb to make that baby fast by modern standards.

The 350 with a 4 barrel carb sounds amazing. I ran into my friend Ross with his old car, I dunno wtf it was but it had the 350 with a 4 barrel and it just sounds absolutely perfect.

Here we go, this is what it sounded like.

I know we mostly dislike Chevy's here, but damn.

Uh... Georgia has horrible weather dont they? ie.. Hurricanes...

Ok so ive narrowed my search down to a 98 or new V6 Camaro or Firebird or Edge V6... Now that i have a job (where as when i had my mustang i didnt have a set job just a buncha odd jobs) I can mod it.

Hybrids are a pain in the ass to work on. I'm so glad I work for GM and not Toyota. No hybrids for me, especially at a Cadillac and GMC dealer. Nothing there gets better than 19mpg, lol.

Oh, you work for GM? Thats actually pretty good, so can you tell me alil about the 4th gen LT1 Camaros? Their the ones im interested in right now, kuz i can afford the asking price initially on most with substantial amount of miles but nothing too bad. i found a 95 Z28 with about 85K for 4300 and its in great shape.
