Default '89 Gt Rear Brake Question/Help

I have a "hum" from my passenger rear wheel when driving. When I apply the foot brake it goes away. The e-brake stuck once a few days ago but quickly released. The "hum" has been there since I bought the car 4 weeks ago.

Can soemone post a picture or diagram of what the brake set-up is supposed to look like? I may have to take the rear brake apart and have a look-see.

Any ideas on what may be the issue?

Thanks!

could be chopped rear tire look for high or low spots on the inner or outer edge of the tires or possibly a bad wheel bearing if the noise gets louder when you load up one side of the car like when cornnering like if the noise got louder when making a hard left turn may be a bad right rear wheel bearing or vice versa......

2 for too tight... cool.

So, what's the quick way to back them off? I can read the book but I'm sure someone has come up with a quick and better way to do this...

ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BACKING PLATE THERE should be a oval slot or a knock out....can't remember if you have to take a punch and knock open the oval,.....but if the oval is there if you don't have a brake adjusting spade/tool use a wide blade screwdriver and rotate the toothed wheel the way it is most difficult because you'll have to over come the adjuster lock it' takes a few trys but not all that bad
