Default (CAI)what the heck did this guy do

i wanna do this to my v6 i think this is on a new GT.....is it like a dropping a filter in instead of a cai?

Umm... am I missing something? Looks like a normal CAI to me just with different placement than our sixers because it's a 2005-2007 V6...

its different cuz it uses the stock tube almost all the way to the filter. where that chrome pice starts is where the aftermarket cai starts. its nothin special. i dont know how it well it would work on one of our cars. you would have to custom make it

looks like he has a windstar upper intake and an aftermarket cai bolted on it. Seen it done on couple of stangs

i think steeda makes a v6 cai thats just the filter on the stock hose for a new edge

but the thing is the aluminum/metal piping flows better than the rubber hose because the rubber hose has ribs and kinks and stuff
