Seat number 2 looks a bit big at the top for a tiny mustang, but it looks soo much more comfortable. and if i wasnt taking out the back seat itd prob be annoying to the people in back, but thats not a worry.

Honestly, i hate the seats i have now. They are unhorribly comfortable, and the leather...with no holes in the back to let your back breath, makes me sweat after like 3 mins of driving. Ya its my daily driver, but these are alot lighter. And even though its my dd, im trying to make this thing go, so every pound counts. Im ggetting stoptech brakes before i even buy seats, but im looking now cuz it wont be far off.
The seats are pretty ugly. They kinda look like ricer seats... but, I say, if you're gunna get one, get #1. The second one is extremely ugly, and the red is HORRIFYING.
what u mean by no holes in the back of the seat iv never seen a seat with holes but i agree the seats dont breathvery good i get out the car and people ask if i have ac i say yes why ur back is a lil wet
and how much do those seats cost and how much of a discount do u get because even with a discount im sure its a ship load

those seats will probably be way worse. they are going to wrap around your body more so your stuck in the seat a lot more. i bet its hotter. that and i bet they look like sh*t in anything but a race car.
Not exacty holes, but the newer leather has pinholes, like tiny mesh to let your back breath. They may look ricer but they are an extremely well known company and i wouldnt get the seats if they were crap. They retail for anywhere between 600-700 for the first one, and i can get maybe 40% off any of their products.
And i refuse to use the word ricer to ever describe anything, but people would say that about any racing seat now adays. The leather racing seats i want go for about 1300 each, and if i decide to spend 3000 on seats, it wont be any time soon.

Oh well. If anyone else has suggestions for other seats, i want something lighter. Then i can sell my whole interior as a set. But like i said, im getting big brakes first, s o iit might be a hot second before i get seats at all. And i plan on making this somewhat a race car , the skys the limit and im shooting for at least a 12 second quarter mile over the next 3 years of modding my car. Iv only been putting stuff into my car for a little under 8 months now. And i like the fact that the seats wrap around you and hug you tighter, it would make me feel alot saffer and more comfortable. Number one deffinitally seems apealing seeing as its not horrible looking and its cheap.
edit: i realize this is a kind of large goal to achieve considering im gunna be swapping out major components like transmissions and such (hopefully next year), but considering i have another year in highschool and my college is pretty much taken care off, i have a good chance with the cash i make, the people i know, and absolutly zero outside costs to pay for.

I have tried, but my parents refuse to sell the car and buy a new one. They paidfor it so its theirs legally to own and sell as they please. And its easy to take a v8 gt to lets say 400 hp, i want to do it to a v6 and represent, i really do. Even if its more expensive.
And i know there are other seats out there that arnt carbon fiber, but i know plenty of people with these on their car and i know the quality of seibon. When its my life in that seat, i want somehting i know will keep me alive, and i know these will. The price and the quality is why i was considering these.

My vote goes for the first one. I think the interior would come off better with vinyle Corbeaus with black primary color and maybe a red secondary, but those could work as well, just don't forget to get the mounting brackets and any adaptors needed.
^^ Good man! ... ive been lightening up my car too, im looking into seats, i can get red and black ones cuz of my red callipers and my car is silver... ballllllinnnn. lol
I need to stablize my car before i make it any quiker with weight reduction. IE, new brakes and a full suspension other then just shocks and springs. Haha, i hope that "good man" was for my v6 pride!
and speaking of those on a mustang can u use one of those 4 points that has a single top mount and splits to 2 belts and then just run that straight back and hook that to the baby seat anchor instead of finding another point
i did a lil crude paint work to try to discribe it better
i would definitely go with seat #1 it looks like it could go in ablack mustng with black interior and i think that red would just be too much with all that black
A 5 point harnest would be pretty cool. I just really like how the seats hug you and make oyu feel more one with the car instead of it throwing oyu around a bit.

You don't "NEED" that but it may be cool. I just prefer the stock belt, quicker to get in and out of and is fairly comfortable.
