I live in Omaha, NE and really the only place in town that does any sort of reputable work is a shop called HP Motorsports.  So i called them the other day to get a quote on putting in my 4.10's.  They quoted me $395 for just labor on the install, does this sound as high to you as it does to me?  Just thought i'd ask b/c honestly, who likes getting ripped off?  If anyone else around the omaha area knows of another place i might wanna call, please let me know, thanks.

That sounds kind of high but the only other option you have is to put them in yourself like I did.

Call auggie, he's out in plattsmouth. 402 296 6106

And mustangman, we should hang out sometime. =)

Also, have you contacted sublime? They DO do domestics, but they specialize in imports. I heard they were responsible for a LOT of **** related to Boostang.

I know I'm going to end up doing my own, since I figure if I break it, I can always buy a new one. =\

I paid $250 in North Platte for a gear swap in a Dana 60 (similar design).  Place called Inland Truck Parts.

so yea.....get this.  I was quoted $395 for the install when i talked to the guy on the phone and i thought that meant everything needed for the install.  I got the car back from the shop yesterday and the bill was $481 for just the install!!!!!!  Needless to say i was a little PO'D that they failed to tell me that was not including tax and oil, t-lock, and friction modifier.  And.......i found out that they didnt recalibrate my spedometer.
