Default deleting posts (your own) ?

why can you not delete some of your own posts in order to keep a thread from getting unnecessarilly long?

As far as I know, the forum isn't set up that way. If you need a thread/post deleted, you can always edit your post to say "...", and a Section Mod or Site Mod will delete it.

EDIT: I went through your history, and cleaned up about 4 posts.

Thank you. My thinking was just to delete some of the "ttt" posts which take the threads into multiple pages after a period of time and basically are wasting band width. Don't know if that explains my thinking ?
