but i just wanted to say that i tinted my tail lights with the VHT night shade and they look really good..

i did 5 light coats and than 3 clear coats wet sanded. than i compounded out the tiny scratches and waxed to finish them off

total time about 2 hours to take everything out and put it all back in after the tint..not too bad but than was with the help of a friend

just make sure ur hand is steady and you are good with spray painting...

easy as 1, 2, 3 and $20

ill get pictures up asap

i got my new tires put on too   but forget those pics

o eyah. i went for the 50% look almost..just enough to see the red..not the blackout look

COMPARISON

why did you wet sand them?

when you put the spray tint on, its all like gritty and stuff..so in order to get the gloss look you have to add several clear coats..so after that youj wait for it to dry, get a sponge with some water and 1500grit sandpaper...wet the tail light and scrub til the bubble blemished from the clear coat go away. than you use compound to take out to minor scratches in ur tail light. looks almost from the factory..

its pretty easy. its only heald on by 2 bolts. but i guess you would probably have to take the spoiler off then the light off..that sucks.
