Well me and the guys met up to get some pics before our "top end test" tomorrow. Me and my buddy are going to go from a 50mph rollup to 185mph. We have secured a nice stretch of road through a "military" connection. Safety is a concern, so we got together today just to perform a couple of visual inspections, check fluid levels etc. My buddy thinks his C5 Z06 can takethe cakeall the way up to 185mph but I feel otherwise. He has a slight hp advantage but...I think that I can pull it out...so I dare ask the question....

A longhard look at the competition,

He was a little concerned about traction so he swapped out his C5 tires, for C6 Z06 tires,

LS6, Long tube headers, ATI procharger @ 6psi, Nitrous kit-30 shot wet. All work performed by him.

LS7, CAI, headers, x-pipe simple but effective (That tin can looking thing with the yellow dipstick is the dry-sump lubricating system)

It ain't braggin if it's true..

How could we forget about the LS1?

LG headers, Vararam intake, 150 shot wet, B&B tri-flow exhaust, X-pipe/no cats 490rwhp on the juice..looks stock huh?

A military connection? What did you reserve an airstrip or something?

At least your friend can put his Big ass wing to use. I can't imagine going that fast. Camera in the car please!

I think he will have me until we get around 160mph or so...but it should bea good race.

Oh yeah! I'm going to top this thing out...it does 198 stock..so with my mods I should be able to squeeze a xtra 2mph out of it...

I've been 185 and thought that was insane. You might have to set up two cameras. One on the road and point the other at your speedo from the back seat (Over your shoulder kindaview)! Good luck to ya, be careful.
