i just raced a gto from a 50mph roll to about 120mph. he was pullin on me about 2 1/2 or 3 cars....does this sound like it was a 5.7 or 6.0L? btw i have exhaust and cold air...nothin special.

if it had hood scoops and dual exaust it was a 6.0, if it had a smooth hood and single port but dual pipes, it was a 5.7

my boss has a 05 GTO..6.0 LS2 400hp automatic and he gets me by about 2 cars but our coworker has the 5.7 LS1 and I beat by about 1 car

A 400 hp LS2 GTO will run away from a 1998 Cobra like it's standing still. I have raced97-98 Cobras with my LS1 and it's not a very close race. Even an LS1 GTO (a 6-speed anyway) should pull away, theyeasily trap over 100 mph, which a 1998 Cobra might be able to do but barely.
You guys act like LS1 F-bodies can outrun Tomahawk missles but LS1 GTOs move at the speed of smell. It's the same 350 hp engine! There's not that big of a difference.
