'69 Z28 Finally makes it to GLD - UPDATE
 

The '69 Z28 my buddy built a few weeks back and I raced a few times was posted here as some kills. He and I were both supposed to go to GLD (Great Lakes Dragaway)last night but I ended up working very late.
He was able to go so I talked to him at midnight and heran about what I figured (I thought he would go maybe 12.8 or a 9)he would based on our run on the street, a 1.8 short time ended up with a 13.06@104 so on street tires I run around 12.50 to my worst of 12.80 which would cover him.

He is installing a new fuel system and some other things to get the time down, his MPH was lower than he expected so it may be the new fuel system will provide some help here since the plugs showed he may be starving on the big end and jetting it more wouldn't work with his current setup

Nope, I wanted another Mustang to beat him much worse than I did to put him back in his place. He's too used to running 9's in his other Z28 so he always uses that car as his fall back. So when I beat him he used the "I'll just bring out the other one" which can't be driven on the street. I just remind him of all the work he did and how fat my car is and I'm beating him (I know what can be done to it though!) so it's a fun rivalry. :D

I really hat e when a guy throws his race car at a street car. If you can't drive to and from the track, don't try and compare it to my car.
