Do I Need A Wheel Alignment?

Hello all!
I went up to17x9 rims & tires two days ago. The new setup has a 2' gap between the fender and the tires, so I'm getting the car lower about 1' Do I need a wheel alignment? And how about my X-cal II, do I need to reset the tire revs?
Thanks,
Denny

If you lower your car, yes, have the alignment checked... you might need to pick up some camber bolts....

What size tire did you go with? You can change the wheel without changing the over all tire diameter...

Hey John!
I did get the springs done today, but they didn't have the ultralites, they gave me the steeda sport springs. I think the sport springs drop the car about 1 1/2', thats 1/2' more then the ultralites. I had an 2' grap between the wheel & fender. I think the car did very well in the OR and came out looking very well.
Tell me what you think, Please be real!
Thank you,
Denny

Denny I think the car looks great! Nice amount of drop too. Did you get an alignment? How is it riding? I'll tell you the truth, I'm happy with the ride even lowered.

check your axle movement. Without an adjustable panhard bar your rear end may have moved to the left (driver's side). You can use a tape and measure to the tire from a similar fender point on either side. 'Some' Ford people are saying a panhard bar is required, some aren't. But if you have a sideways axle movement you'll need the adj bar to keep your rear tires aligned with the front.

Hey Ken04! You are right! I can see the left rear wheel sticking out, and the right wheel is in under the fender. Yep! Its off center. Can you tell me, If I drive the car like this what will be the outcome? I've been driving the car like this for about 3-4 weeks. So today I put in an order atSteeda for the following: 1) Adjustable Panhard Bar 2)Heavy Duty Panhard Bar Brace 3) LCA Relocation Brackets (All Steeda Parts) I hope these parts will help fix the problem. Thank you for your input, Denny
