I'm having trouble making a decision between the Eibach Pro-kit and Ford Racing springs.

For a 2007 Stang GT application - I'm looking at the Eibach Pro-Kit springs but I'm not sure I like the drop of 1.3" front and 1.4" rear. Ford Racing springs say theydrop appx1.5" all around and I would rather keep the stock slope rather than bring the rear down.

I don't plan to replace my 18" stock bullit wheels for awhile and want to remove as much air space in the wheel well for this daily driver.

Do you recommend the FR springs, which are installed on the 2007 Shelby GTs or the Eibach Pro-Kit and why?

Both are very similar springs, and visually drop almost the same... personally I do not really notice a "rake" on the Eibach Pro-Kit....

I would make the choice of how low do you want the car? Do you want to lower more or less? If you want more of a drop go with the Ford Racing Springs...

I can tell you this... the Eibach Pro-Kits sell about 10 to 1 over the Ford Racing springs on our site..... not sure if that means anything, but can tell you where most customers steer.

Thanks Josh. I just read another post from someone who said he has installed several FRPP K springs that had the Eibach Pro-Kit part number still on the spring. I think I'll stick with Eibach.

Thanks again!

Ford Racing Springs are manufactured under a contract with EIBACH. So they are basically the same spring. Personally, I would stick with eibach. I love mine:)

The Eibach springs lower less too. Some do not like the extreme drop of the K springs.

Its all based on the drop. If you really want the drop to be excessive, go with the Sportlines, otherwise stick with the Pro-Kit. The Pro-Kits lower less, and you do not have to worry about bottoming out, speed bumps, or parking blocks.

Eibach Pro-Kits - 1.2 inches front, 1.4 inches rear
Eibach Sportlines - 1.6 inches front, 2.0 inches rear

Sincerely,
