What am I missing here? I was checking out E-bay and I see this one with 300 or so miles for 42K for Sale? It's a Supercharged Convert car. I have to figure this should be going at least 5-10K highter at least.
Makes me think I should sell my 04 SC vert I just bought last summer for 39K and try to get into this.
What do you all think? It's crazy as I saw another car with 25k miles selling for 63K which is what he paid ly for it.. Just curious as to peoples thoughts on this.
One thing I do like is that the 05-07 Cars seem to be able to take mods better then an 04 non E car. I see a lot of folks with the 475hp upgrade on an otherwise stock 05-07 model and I know I would probably grenade my 2v 04 car if I tried that.
I appreciate the feedback.

They definitely priced that about $5k less than it could sell in other parts of the country. Perhaps there isn't a strongmarket for such cars in Cleveland, Georgia? Heck, call the dealer and get a cheap flight out there. Not much to lose.
Even though I live 40 minutes from Saleen's Orange County headquarters, I flew to St. Louis to buy my car because I was able to get it for several thousand less than in L.A. Ultimately, it was worth the $150 flight and 6 hours of flying (during which I worked for about 5 hours)...
Hi,
I called on it and they said it was a Sales Managers cousins car? I am also concerned with just 389 miles on it? I know they are not daily drivers as I have put only about 800 miles in the year I have owned mine, but still that seems pretty low for someone's son to have driven it..
Also I just bought mine a year ago. paid 39K but I only owe about $5,800 on it now. very small payment I wonder what I could get for a trade? Any thoughts..
Thanks.
BTW...mine is a Black 04 Convertible SC #231 . 5600 or so miles. upgraded wheels, but standard brakes and no speedster cover just the normal convertilbe boot cover. I was just getting ready to throw some mods into to it as well but maybe I will hold off now.
Things that make you go hmmmmmm????

Triple black is not my preference in a 'vert, but I think that was a *great* deal for somebody. Often the very best deal on a car, whether it's a Saleen, an Audi or aKia, is when somebody who hasn't had it very long is determined/desperate to get out of it....

Try to sell it yourself......you'll get raped on a trade in. Even though the trade in route is lower maintenance and less of a headache.
I agree... It isn't new, although VERY low miles. I'd check with the guy on it's background, make sure there wasn't a lemon buy-back type of thing. Otherwise you can save between 15 and 20k compared to a brand new SC vert that you could order. Put the barricade powdercoated black rims on her!
