On Memorial Day, I was rear ended while at a complete stop at 70 mph by some 17 year old dumbass. He claimed he sneezed, shoved me across traffic, into a huge ditch, and then up into a tree. All of the glass shattered and did a lot of head damage as well as body damage. I was flown to P.G. and later released in stable condition.
Anyways, my 96 v6 which was my first car and still in excellent condition was totaled. As of now I am looking to buy an 07 but I am having a huge internal debate on the color. I want something that would kind of show my personality a bit. I am coming up on 20 years old, female, and kind of have the blonde cheerleader persona (except my hair is brown, blonde, red, and black now...best of every world I guess). I am really interested in the Alloy Metallic clearcoat color but was also considering white. I like the 17" machined wheels that are available for both the GT and v6. What do you guys think? All seriousness because I am getting a new ride soon! Thanks :)

i'd say red, so if that guy is ever around he'll associate red with STOP!!!
I only have two words... HOLY CRAP!!!! That's pretty massive... where were you stopped at that he could have hit you at 70 mph? I feel sorry for you, shame it was totaled, insurance is only going to give you blue book, which is like 3000 at max.
But anyway, color... I'd say that light metallic blue (I don't know the real name) or yellow... no white or black... those are too boring.

Thats great you walked out if it in one piece, Thank god kus ..... And to answer your question.... I would say go with white w/ black or tan interior. The problem with red if you ever try and do anything to your car for color acsents most reds dont match. Also most likely your tastes will change... White is a color that will fit no matter what stage or phase your are in. If your are planning on having this car for a while I would think consider the future more then the now.... But thats my opinion!
whitttteeeeee i wasnt taken by it at first when i bought my mustang but im telling you i love it its looks amazing going down the road clean and dark interior
Holy christ, glad you're ok. Gotta love those "I sneezed" excuses. My sister recently decided to goose it right into the yard across the street, punting a mailbox 20ft with my left fender, but that's far less than what you've been through so I'll just stfu.
Anyways, I'd go white or black. Black is awesome, but if you live where it's hot I'd go white. Either way, when your car is clean it'll look top notch!

New pic after repairs are done. =( -Throttle tweak -MAC 2.5" Cat Back w/3" Stainless Steel Tips -CC Smoked Lights -Planned gears, Tlock, and MAC Cold Air.
I was on a main rd...rt 4 going north to be exact (I live in Southern Maryland) and put my turn signal on to left turn into my housing developent to pick up my little sister because I wanted to take her to the beach. Then BAM...hit me. I don't know whether or not anyone cares, but this is what it caused:
7 staples in my head, 8 sutures
Pulled trapezius muscle (main muscle for any function in neck/upper back)
Severe whiplash and concussion but remained conscious the whole time
Currently no pain threshold on my feet (I can't tell when pain is ending...when they used a tool to detect, I said the pain stopped way before it ever did)
No reflex in left arm
Post-concussion symptoms like blurred vision, 24/7 headache, memory problems...
It's sucked so far but I am hanging in there. I thank God I am alive because frankly I shouldn't have been. BUT...I got to ride in a helicopter:) First time EVER on anything like that!
The white didn't capture my eye until I saw it matched with the charcoal interior. I think it's need when the white ones have black rims and a rear black spoiler and everything else is clean white. But I still can't get over the alloy metallic/charcoal one. I think no matter what I am going to be completely happy just because it's a Mustang:) Then again, nothing can replace your first car.

+1
It's tough to say what looks good. Personally I don't like my white car, I'd rather have it be black. But a lot of people comment on how nice it is, and its got a nice ass with the new vinyls I put on. But the front and sides are just...bleh to me. People like it, but I don't really care what they like. Pick something you like, go to the Ford dealership and check them all out, whichever one you say "damnnnnnnnnnnnn" to is the one.
Wow, glad to hear you're okay... that's quite an accident...
Black always looks amazing but is a PITA to keep clean and looking nice since everything shows! I started thinking about it and a nice white with charcoal interior and black stripes and accents would look soooooo nice... Thats my vote!
