I'm super-impressed that this hasn't turned into a complete FLAME WAR!

...I still say everyone needs one of each...one for fun and "tricks", one for consistent track times and eating a hamburger while driving lol...

I have a 5-speed... automatic. With my recent tune it shifts so hard... I love it.

I bought an auto(ALSO A 5-speed) because I bracket race and it's not how fast you go
but going the same time every time.
Also have Alternative Auto's tune with a PI convertor. Lidio works magic with his auto tunes.
Car now gets sideways in second gear and churpps third( at about 65-70mph)

I have a bit of each. It's a manual...you shift from 1st to 2nd to 3rd...then back down to 2nd to 1st....but without a clutch. You can't start in 3rd, there's no D, and you have to push the transbrake button for reverse I don't really understand the mechanics...someone like fordfanboy could explain better.

Manual here. I learned to drive on a '68 Power Wagon with a manual, and have always preferred it.
