The interior is black leather with the mach 460 audio (which I actually really like).

I just bought my black 03 Cobras, to mixed reception (but I love them):

Car in chill mode at work.

Got her washed and waxed on day 2... after initial wash:

I then polished the finish up with some Meguiar's ScratchX, and followed up with a good Turtle Wax. Didn't get anywhere after that with pictures, because it was too dark for my celly to take anything worth a ****, but here's what I got:

It rained the next day.

Anywho, what do you guys think? The things I'm currently toying with are:
  • Getting an array of alluminum and metalized parts for my interior and having them powder coated or painted to match my exterior in as much a fashion as possible.
  • Getting the off coloured stuff in the interior painted to as close a match to the rest of the interior as possible, if not some kind of black. I'll keep thinking about it and find something that looks good.
  • Getting the typical exterior mods, but having them painted to match the wheels (mach 1 grille, chin, gas cap, etc, maybe a steeda wing).

Then in august, I'll do some bolt ons. =)

It was a trade. The rims were on my old car, a 2002 V6 Mustang. The dealership let me keep my wheel in exchange for the wheels on the car... which were chrome 01 cobras, I believe. Mine were wider, sleeker, and in my opinion, better looking. Everyone agrees in person and in real life, but everyone online hates it. =(

No i like the black it looks real aggressive. Just lower ur car about 1 -2 inches and it will be looking sweet. Hint for next time Turtle wax is bottom line I dont know how long it will guarentee a protection coat for your stang. Check out www.obsessivedetail.com Higher quality product for a great price man.

I'll try a different wax. I'm out of the turtle anyway. I'm thinking about trying this stuff they had at the advance auto parts. **** if I can't remember the name, all I remember was the bottle wasn't terribly flashy. Just had the name of the product, and the guy at the store said it was one of the better waxes. Obsessive detail comes highly reccomended, so I'll be sure to try that... but I just bought some required mods for my car, so I gotta wait a bit: shorty antennae (especially since my current one is freaking SILVER) and vinyl bumper inserts.

Meguiars Gold Class wax is really nice and isnt too expensive. I think 9 bucks a bottle.

I'll be sure to try it. Doing bumper inserts this sunday, so I'll need a wax to go over it. 14$ worth of mandatory mod. I can live with that... but hey. I'll try the mequiars, I seem to land on thier products for whatever reason. Probably just becuase they're easily available.

Nice new whip. Like the hood. Get that honey comb out of there and leave "just" the horse.

I think a chrome lip on the wheels would make it more accepted online, they just look like police car wheels to me in a pic.

Actually, I think I want to go beastly N/A. I used to think power adders were god, and then I jumped into a GT, and it put me on an N/A kick. I haven't done enough research, but the winter project will be a new motor. I am not sure how it's gonna work out, but the ring of a 4V 5.4L with a cast iron block (that I can go S/C with later) really appeals to me, but I wouldn't be suprised if I stuck with the stock alluminum block and just did a top end swap from a 4V. I'm a cheap bastard.

Goal: 4V, tune, and maybe some upgraded internals, but will stay stock block until it becomes a point of needing it. Definitely cams, and exhaust.

You've got a beautiful car! Always love to see people who take care of their investments.
Only thing I could suggest is getting a new CD player, Stock OEM Headunits are...yeah..

You know, I honestly really like the 460 head unit. It works, handles six discs (slow as **** on the changes, loads and ejects, though, I miss my old head unit in that respect), and with the system it drives, it actually handles my audio needs. I honestly don't see a need to upgrade it, except maybe moving to some subs in the back, but I can honestly see myself salvaging some Mach 1000 stuff. =)

I drove a stock V6 for a year and only stopped being entertained about 3 months ago when it began to fall apart. Every now and then the car cleaned itself for a high speed run. Those were good times. But the new V8 is a perfect mix of new age computers with old school muscle, with the muscle prevailing. It's so good to hear an uneven but clean sounding engine. I find the car makes me pick my battles now. Only race I've been in that I feel was worth the gas was against another GT. The other ones were me losing horribly to modded cars or cars that are better from factory. (I fell into a pack of GM's, 2 Corvette's and a ****ing WS6, they left me about 3 car lengths at about 60 from a dig)

At this point, I'm not even used to it. And I've had the car in the shop more than it's been on the road so far, so the car is still beastly in my eyes. Right now, I'm fixing the stuff that's wrong with it, and it's not much. Tint was removed, gotta make sure they did a good job, though. Find out tommorrow.

15,400, got 7600 for my beat up ass sixer as a trade in. Less than BB for buying price, and more than BB for trade. I can't complain.

The interior looks like it's in really good shape! At least you know the car wasn't previously driven by a fatass (the leather is pretty much in tact.) That's always a +++++++++++++

I love my car. ANd the leather isn't going anywhere unless I can find some good leather racing seats.
