Great looking stang!  It is in very good shape. Congrats on the new purchase!

Thanks, I appreciate it. I'll probably buy some of your shiz here, real soon. Just got some Halogen bulbs for my fogs and headlamps. http://www.nokyausa.com/

They're bright as hell, but not rude like HID. They light up the road and will get me noticed by people going the opposite direction, which is the goal. Should see some more racing here, real soon. Getting mach 1 stuff here, in like, 2 weeks. THen next month, I'm expecting to do UD pulleys and maybe a CAI. Then, sometime during the winter, full exhaust?

no
dont waste your money on bolt ons

2v does not take good to bolt ons, plus they're all expencive
do this
exhaust
gears
short throw shifter
clutch
tires
blower

cheapest way to go fast with that car
unless you want to go the nitrous route

I can't afford a blower. I don't think I ever will be able to, not until I've paid the car off. By then, I'll probably be looking to restore this while paying off a cobra.

I'll probably go cams, though. They're productive, aren't they?

Got obsessive compulsive today on my car. Bought a clay bar, and went to town. Then went and polished the car and applied some turtle wax. As always, turtle wax is a bitch to use, but it's well worth it, I think. Here's some shots of the GT in it's natural habitat:

Everyone takes pictures of thier hood to show the reflection after thier hard work. I think I will too!

Also washed and polished my rims. Probably will hit them again tommorrow.

Me, after 6 hours of detailing the **** out of this car!

And now, I gotta go clean my interior. I went to walmart since the hardware store was closed, to see if I could find a few parts I needed to delete my spoiler. I'm thinking I want to just put some bolts where the holes are, preferably black with no head pattern (you undo it from the other side with a nut) and inbetween the bolt head and the surface, some kind of rubber washer. First stop tommorrow is the hardware store, second stop is well... yeah...

Anyway, I got this at walmart. NO SMOKING, MUFUKKA!

I didn't have a lighter anyway, so I figure, 83 cents? What the hell, put something in there, and without speaking a word, vocalize something I want know, NO SMOKING IN THIS CAR!

So, I got some more of the mandatory **** out of the way. Probably gonna wait on the suspension and get c springs while I save and pay off the credit card and ****. I figure for 150$, it's an okay tide me over. the car just needs a drop... suspension actually feels fine to me. Might need a strut tower brace... but that's all I might want to buy for it.

Anywho, pics!

Can't complain. Entire attitude changes for just 200$.  I installed the chin with the included pushpins and a drill (chicago brand, only 20$ *shrug*), and the grille I went to the store, bought some screws, some nylong bushings (about a 1/3 inch long), and some screw caps to prevent a bit of rust. It is bolted down to the bumper instead of taped...

And it only cost me 2$. Took forever to remove the front wrap s o I could do all that with ease, though. hardest part is to remove and install the bumper.

Me and my new girlfriend will be setting up a photoshoot at lewis and clark's landing. She's got a really nice camera and a lot of skill with camera's in general. I'm sure we'll do my hard detailing work justice, and I'm sure mustang owners everywhere will be proud of our work. Stay tuned!

Very nice car man

I also really like how you explain everything you're doing.

Would it be possible to know where you got (or will get) that small antenna. Also, how much did the chin (if it's called like that....I'm talking about the thing that goes under your bumper) cost?

Thanks a lot,

Keep us posted.

Nick

Cheapest I could find on the web for the chin was like, 99.95, I think, at stangmods.com. I got the antenna from americanmuscle.com. Make suer to ask for a discount before you order. I know as a broke college student, even penny counts... and dollars can make all the difference in teh world.

She's actually excited about the photoshoot. It's kind of creepy.

Not a problem, this thread kind of turned into my car blog. Might be fun to have a thraed that tracks a mustang from lot to looking good and hauling much ass. I've already got about... 1400$ worth of **** on the car? Detailing take into consderation, anyway.

And it's still in in transits. Gonna get plates tommorrow, I want vanity plates of some kind. =)

Edit: Update: Well, I'm gonna have to buy the film she has in mind. 9$/roll. She still loves to take pictures, so she's really excited about it. She showed me all her old school work. Some of it was really good, but she also took me through all the old stuff, her not so good ones, and even those weren't bad. I'm excited to see how this will turn out. She says her camera can even handle taking pictures at night by hte light of the moon. So, I think we're going to take pics at Lewis and Clark's landing, at night. I am not sure where I want my daytime shots at. My car, in a turn around, right on the water. It'll be awesome.

I want some place shady but with mixed lighting for the daytime shots. Probably an alley or something. =)
