What all needs to be done? Do the shock towers have to be cut? Do I have to change front spring rates?I know i need motor mounts, headers, and an oil pan. Oh yeah going in a Fox body.

10 years ago i had a 1982 mustang..it was a 302 car..but i put a 429 in it..you need a truck oil pan..and special headers..oil pump and screen and pick up ..there is several companys that make a complet kit for around 800-1000$$..includes headers oil pan ..mounts or front plate and 2 inch headers...i never had mine at the track ..but with a mild 429 ..it was killer to drive..it woulkd probaly ru8n 11:50-12.00 ..

IMHO not worth it. if i only got a mid 11 out of it i would be highly dissapointed knowing a 302 can run that fast. also with a BBF you gain alot more mass up front. you want your car as light as possible when racing

I like the idea but you do know you will definitely need to upgrade the tranny and rear end too! also need much bigger brakes and springs up front due to the extra weight unless you plan on using an aluminum block. a 460 swap might be much more practical and parts would be easier and cheaper to find.

If you are looking to the torque of a big block, why not try a small roots blower. The Weiand 174 supposedly makes your 302 feel like a 460.

Yea...but a supercharger on a mustang is about as common as a fart can on a honda. I say if you got the time and resources go for it. With a good HCI combo, that thing would be sick...not to mention the sound...
