will cobra rims fit - 7/8/2007 7:05:26 PM    orange5.0fox   Posts: 44 Joined: 1/22/2007 Status: offline i might be getting a pair of cobra rims but before i get them i was wondering if they would fit under my car their 245 width in the front and 275 in the rear will these fit under my car and if not then how can i make them  Post #: 1

RE: will cobra rims fit - 7/14/2007 5:30:14 PM    88Mach1 Posts: 389 Joined: 6/17/2007 Status: offline some say that in order to remove the quad shocks you need better lower control arms. the quad shocks help to eliminate wheel hop, and with better control arms, they're not needed. i ran mine with the stock control arms for over a year and had no problems. i'd say go for it. if you experience any wheel hop (when launching hard or doing burnouts) then you'll have to get some new control arms. they're not too expensive. also, depending on the backspacing, you may have to roll the fenders. again, i'm not too sure though. hope this helps. any more ?s feel free to ask, i'll try and help _____________________________ (in reply to orange5.0fox) Post #: 4
