Value of a Roush Engine? - 7/8/2007 5:32:09 PM    xcodegt Posts: 556 Joined: 2/22/2007 Status: offline I am having some difficulty giving a guy from my car club an offer on his engine. It is from a 03 or 04 Roush Stage 3 that was flipped and totaled. The engine is fine....no frontal damage, It just crushed the roof. I was wondering what kind of $$$$ figure I should give him. It a Roush supercharged 4.6  with 35,000 miles, and it was taken care of. He will be selling it as a complete engine, throttle body-Oil pan. Also, would this engine operate on my current ECU or should I get the one from his car and swap it out? Find out the value of a 2003 mustang GT engine and take off whatever amount you see fit for the 35,000 miles on it. Anyway, You'll pay $4 K for that blower set up used (assuming you find someone willing to part with theirs). So add that to the motor cost. You'll need his ECU as well. Roush has two tunes for the M90. The 'old' tune was 360 hp, the 'new' tune was 380 hp. Only slight differences, but much easier than trying to have someone tune the blower after the fact.
