grr... a source gave me a price.. 2909 for a 2.3L whipple shipped  wonder how much he can get a 3.4 for?? That's already 10% over OEM cost... Maybe the new blower will be here before the axle swap??? lol...
God, my fiancee is going to kill me... hopefully she doesn't throw a cocktail at my car

yeah i belong to SVTP also, i would say go KB. In the long run its more reliable, constant power, easier on the engine, and you dont have to fill it all the time. Also some states its illegal to have even a juice bottle in your car let alone filled and hooked up. Just my .02

Italia... That statement alone cost you 100 cool points...
Since when does putting nitrous on your car constitute a "ricer"... so you're saying that every Cobra, Fbody, Viper, Mustang, Corvette, etc. that has nitrous (NOS is a company, not a power adder) is a ricer??

why would you want to put something into your car that not only beats the sh it out of your engine, but makes 90% of the kids out there say "OMGDZ NOW YU CAN SMOKEZ A VERYON!!1!1!!!!!"
Its gay, and I always thought it was gay. Nos (the abbreviation not the company) is a hyped up phenominon of the car world that really serves no purpose except a temporary boost, which in the end requires a refill. Stupid.
Its like taking steriods in sports. Unneeded.
Its the cheapass (as a person not a price) way to make your car go fast.
The only form of it I like or appreciate is the nos fed intercoolers.
The main point? Get some forced induction and have CONSTANT boost that doesnt need a refill. Thats the real way to do it.

I already have forced induction...
and the abbrev. for nitrous is N2O... NOS = Nitrous Oxide Systems is a company that produces Nitrous kits....
Nitrous is about as "ricer" as a turbo... Besides, with the proper tune and without overusing it - it is not harmful to my motor.
There is one major difference between nitrous and steroids... steroids are illegal. In some cases, nitrous is just smart. That however was the dumbest comment I have ever seen you put on here.

get the kb 2.6 the 2.8 is only good if you make 24 psi boost , that what i heard . i got a 2.6 h have not installed it yet but my tuner said with 18 psi with the 2.6 i should see 625/650 rwhp easy, that's all i need i dont need 700 rwhp. i also got a straight axle im going with , building it right now. good luck
or go to modular foums they got lots of info there , plus kb has there own post section for tech info go check it out ..

It's people like him that I hate actually... If he gets beat by someone with nitrous - he's goin to say basically you cheated to beat me..
I think it's funny that he thinks nitrous on a car is a cheap way of going fast... everyone makes fun of ricers... but he is the reason we get called dumb-estic owners... it's actually amusing.
That's like the LSx guys when the Terminators came out... they all said "Yeah you need a blower to beat me"...

and..I wouldnt bother to race someone agianst nos. If they had it I'd simply tell them to disconnect it or forget it. Not worth my time. Let the car itself make the power, not a bottle of gas.

wow, nitrous is not that big of deal, it is part of what makes a particular car what it is. 2telling someone to unhook it for a race is worthless, because in any race sitution you know the guys gonna have that bottle rearing and ready to go. if you don't like nitrous don't use it, but you can't argue it effectiveness or its place in motorsports.

You called the use of nitrous "rice"... lol.. if you prefer other types of power adders thats fine... to each his own - but to call something "rice" because you don't prefer it, is just ignorant... much like the way you act.
Again, for the record, I already have a blower. Even if I get a KB, I still might put on some nitrous... I guess my 10 second cobra will be a "rice rocket" because it has nitrous on it.... 
Love the wheels... Probably some of the most hideous things I have ever seen on a Cobra - that's more rice then Nitrous.
