I live in florida so it is hot and sunny all the time. On the wax i use it says not to use in direct sunlight, i have no shade around my house so usually i have to either wake up real early or stay out as the sun goes down to wax my car. Is it really worth doing this, or is it fine to wax in the sun?

Most of the over the counter waxes have to be used in the shade or they will almost bake into the paint and be really hard to get off.  All of the polishes, waxes, and sealants I carry can be used in the direct sunlight and have no residue.  You can put them on in the sun and they come off with ease like they were in the shade.

Definately wax in the shade or you'll regret it later.  Walmart sells those cheap carports you can put up temporarily to at least give you some portable shade.

Well i have heard nothing but good comments on your products Juztang, what would you recommend for my true blue stang? I'm not sure but i think i remember reading about different waxes for different color cars? Right now i'm just using products from discount auto (Meguires Gold Class liquid wax) and i never am very impressed with the results. Help me out please.

For your color I think Wet Glaze topped with my Wet Wax would look awesome.  The Wet Glaze will make the paint look deep and really wet plus make the paint feel really slick.  The Wet Wax will add even more depth and wetness plus add protection.  If you want to throw a polish in the mix you can use my Light Polish before the glaze and wax.

Let me know if you have anymore product questions.

You shouldn't have a problem if you do it in the morning or evening. Also, do small areas at a time. The bigger problem is the temperature of the surface you are applying it to, not the sun. Typically the two go hand in hand, but if your car is relatively cool, you should be fine.
