So what's the deal with the Magnapacks? Anyone running them? Anyone know someone(honestly though) that runs the packs?

I wanted to do the packs w/the Off road xpipe,  but they said that it was too damn loud..    Is this true? I want loud, intimidating, and I also want performance!

How do the Packs sound with the stock H pipe?

Heyyyyylp   Heyyyylp...

Gracias..

I wish I could tell you but I never heard them.  I rung the magnaflows and they are quiet at idle and loud when you get on it.

They sound loud cause you also have the headers right and the prochamber right?

How are the 4.10's working for you? Are they really as good people say they are?

Thanks for your reply.

yes the 4.10's are great, really help get the car moving.  The prochamber actually quites them down.  Ive heard people with stock exhaust manifolds and and magnaflows and they are louder than me, the prochamber really does a number on the loudness

I have heard the Magnapacks, and I have a video of someone with the Magnapacks, and they sound FUGGIN AWESOME. Same volume as Flowmasters...just 10x's better flow

Hey Dan,

The magnapack that you've heard-where they used with stock H pipe and stock headers? What year was the mustang?

What's a better chip to use if you're changing gears(4.10's). Diablo or Autologic?

Does anyone know the amount of power and horsepower that I'll get if I add the following:

Magnapacks straight through mufflers; 4.10 gears; Steeda underdrive pulleys; autologic chip and K&N filter? I have Tokcio 5-way adjustables w/Kenny Bell CCplates.

Thanks guys,  your input and feed is greatly appreciated.

Please advise. Thanks!

Only if they can trace it to the exhaust as being the cause of the problem.  You lose an 02 oh it must have been the exhaust you put on.  Oh you have a the tranny is sticking must have been the exhaust.  All the dealership has to is say that it caused the problem. And you ave to prove it didn't.  Wicked hassle.  Be warned.  I am just going to wait until it's up.  By that time I will have saved enought to do longtubes x-pipe exhaust gears intake and underdrives.

Yhea, I bet that's what the dealers are going to say. Damn again!

I'm so pissed cause I have all that goodies ready to be installed (except for mangpacks), and all I can do is just watch the goodies sit around in my garage.

Patience is not a virtue that I have.

How many miles do you have on your stang?

Have you heard the Magnapacks on a 02 or 01 GT?

Aaron, don't worry about it.

Unless your local Ford dealerships are a major PITA, you are fine. I wouldn't worry about it. It sounds like Silver might have some beef with his shop ;)

I used to work at a Ford dealership,we were all a bunch of gearheads,we didn't care what somebody did to their car,we would warranty everything. But it's kind of up to the service manager to decide what gets covered. So,if you are wondering if something is going to void the warranty,go talk with and make friends with the service manager(not the service writer, they are stupid)and ask him if he will honor your warranty if you put on some aftermarket parts. They still get paid from Ford for doing warranty work and they probably don't want to turn work away.
