i dont know if anyone here saw the new transformers movie but most of yall have probably seen the previews for it and have seen that the new camaro will be in it

i saw it today and i have bad news, there was a saleen mustang in the movie and the camaro and the saleen got in a fight and... the saleen died..

total work of fiction...

Man I saw that movie this weekend and i totally agree with you, i liked the way they made the stang look way meaner than the camaro.

I've been thinkin about this alot, and I think I like the idea that the Mustang got to be the bad guy. A car after my own heart.......sinister and relentless.

Sure, this fight scene will no doubt overinflate the GM fanboys egos....but it is just a movie. And a damn good one at that.

No doubt new saleens look nasty. But the camaro was just stock, I really hope saleen is already working on the new camaro and hopefully have a really nice bodykit for it around launch.

the Saleen didn't die, just got his but kicked. if you were paying attention, you would have noticed that Barricade is on the freeway chasing the rest of the Autobotsafter leaving HooverDam.unfortunately, that's the last you see of him in the film.one of the few plot holes of the film. there's also a few TF threads already started just use the search feature.

My first car was an 88 Camaro, but the Mustang was badass n shoulda kicked his ass. That car looked mean as hell. Im glad it was a bad guy too lol

are you sure we saw the same movie? cause evidently you were not paying attention. as i mentioned before, the last time you see Barricade was on the freeway. if you stayed for the credits, you would've noticed that they alsoshowed Starscream flying into space. besides don't even belive for a minute that Megatron is dead. they wouldn't kill him off in the first movie so easily without the thought ofbringing him back for sequels.

yeah i think we did see the same movie, i was just pre occupied with the hot chick on top of the camaro

GM threw mega bucks to have their vehicles be the heros in transformers. Unforunately they only have a couple of concept Camaros laying around so they payed Saleen to build it for the movie. It is actually a re-skinned V6 mustang.

Just saw Transformers a week ago. Badass. I liked it alot. Saleen police car was badass!!

I saw transformers not too long ago, it was a great movie, but there should have been more mustangs.

Liked the movie enough to see it twice, once with the gf once with friends, liked the saleen it was badass, and though most don't like the new camaro, I did. Plus the girl is pretty damn hot.

I have a mustang, but can definitely admit that the new camaro will be the nicest looking ride on the street. Sure it took Ford to have the balls to make a retro stang, but chevy of course took that idea and perfected it with a remake of the 69 SS Camaro.

It's very modern and retro looking, Is supposed to have the LS2 engine in it stock, and run quicker 1/4 mile sprints than the GTO, and has a badass looking interior. I don't know where you guys get your info but your off in left field! It's not going to be slow like so many think.

Btw, the camaro is built on the Zeta platform, which I believe is the same as the GTO as previously mentioned.

Both cars were badass! I loved the way they both looked and you wouldn't go wrong owning either one. I currently own a 94 Z28 and I would have a new Camaro in my garage ASAP.

Ya know what, I like the way Chevy got it's act in gear. What I don't like is that they cut the line.

I will die with a Mustang, besides if the Pony was a good car it'd make it a family car, and I'm not about to support any more than 3 doors on any Mustang so help me God I'll shoot the CEO.

The new Saleen Mustang is actually not to bad, I had to piss one off the other day to enjoy the speed of my Foxbody on full shot of NOS:)
