OK. I've updated my time here - I ran a 14.475 yesterday at MIR (here's the slip), backed up with a 14.48x as well. I should do even better with cooler temps.
On a positive note, it looks as though my t-lock is OK. I thought I broke it yesterday doing a burnout, but it's working fine now with no add'l noise.

Nice job Bill. Always good to back a good pass up with another too!
Nice job Bill, was a pleasure watching you run again!

Nice job. Driving into that kind of headwind is very detrimental to the cause, but still you pulled out a respectable ET.
We didn't get to run yesterday due to weather, so I decided to hit Lapeer Dragway and catch some test and tune from 11 - 1. The only thing different this time was the Shaftmasters aluminum driveshaft. I was going to mount up a pair of drag radials that Droptop6 let me borrow, but discovered that when Discount Tire put my black bullits on they decided to swap the lugnuts - and the ones they used aren't the same size as the Ford so the lug wrench is useless!
Anyway, back to topic:
Set a new personal best today - only got three passes in but set a new PB on the first run, and then bettered that with the second run (while beating a 1999 Camaro SS)! The third run, didn't launch well and only at 1,000 rpm. I think I found the proper launch on my Pirelli's though, between 1,500 and 2,000.
1st run: RT.......... 0 .768 (perfect at Lapeer is 0.500) 60'...... 2.119 1/8 ET ....... 9.572 1/8 MPH ....77.49 1/4 ET.... 14.782 1/4 MPH ..92.12 Not my fastest speed, so I know it has more.
2nd run: RT............. 0.721 60'............ 2.110 1/8 ET ...... 9.530 1/8 MPH ... 78.76 1/4 ET ......14.730 New personal best! 1/4 MPH ...92.38 Still not as fast as my best speed yet.
I put it all on my spreadsheet and did some comparisons. After upgrading the LCA's my average 60' had dropped from 2.294 to 2.217. With the aluminum driveshaft and three runs today, my average 60' dropped to 2.116! Guess the 'butt dyno' was right, the aluminum driveshaft alone is making the car accelerate quicker in addition to being stronger. All three of my 1/4 ET's were in the top 4 for the year.
Went to Lapeer today and added a set of drag radials to the mix. Really improved my 60' times, and I set a new personal best just a week after the first.
Current car data: Automatic, C&L with 89 tune by Lidio, J&M HotPart LCA's, aluminum drive shaft, Tlok and 3.73 gears, FRPP X pipe and dual GT500 take off exhaust, and today used a set of Mickey Thompson ET Street drag radials
