04 mach 1000 cd/aux

What is it there for if there are no aftermarket parts that are compatable with this system. I've heard that they did it just to make it impossible to upgrade. That sounds right. I am a musician and record my own music. Very sensitive ears are listening to the worst car stereo system I've ever heard. sSure it has thump but there is way to much high end scratch and no mid range. I've had two rangers and easily upgraded my sound to my listening style. Why would a car company do that to such loyal fans. Did they have to give up sound in order to spend more on performance? Help!!!! I at least need some kind of ipod connecter if I have to suffer the highs and lows of the audio. A new deck won't solve anything. Why is the 04 Mach 1000 so difficult to work with? Any answers? Anyone. There is a cd/aux button.
It must be for something.

everyone runs from the mach systems with their hands up in the air screaming for some reason. I have never had an issue with them and to be honest I find them easier then most to go around or integrate into. I have not worked with the 1000 but I know enough about ford to know the wiring is probably the same and we can get you through it. What are you wanting to do? page 2 of my sig shows what I have done with the mach 460 in my 94. By just replacing the deck and doing some tuning I was suprised how much better it sounds.

thanks for the understanding. I just want to hook up an auxillary to the 1000 head unit but I have been told that the PIE will not work for the vesteon but will work for the 03 mach 460.Sony makes that. But visteon makes the 04 mach unit.I will try an alpine deck if that is my last resort to get an ipod connection.
