i have a 1964 ford galaxie that i need to get rid of so i can start on my 69 mustang. it has a 289 engine bored over 30, with a holly high rise intake manifold holly 750 cfm 4brl carb, headers and dual flowmaster exhaust. this car sounds real nice and the motor runs real good it only has 50296 miles on it.. was a commuter car. i drove it to LA and back many many times. the upholstery is 90% redone only one door panel has not been redone. this is great car. all glass is there. im sure im forgetting some things so if you have any questions email or call. it is an automatic but im selling so cheap because it needs a new transmission or a rebuild as of right now it does not run. the car is registered non op but all fee and registration has been paid for so once you buy it you just have to transfer title and ur on ur way. if your interested please let me know. make me an offer its a good one you can come pick it up asap. thank you... asking 1300.00 obo
ive lowered the price to 1300.00 OBO if anyone is interested... please let me know i just need to get rid of this car..... the mustang is way more important....
Do you still have this car? Did the Galaxie originally come with a 390? A lot of people mistake the intake manifold or heads when ID'ing the engine. I was wondering if you swapped the motor, or what it's been upgraded to. If memory serves, the last stock Galaxy motor I had was 390 and had the old generator bracket instead of an alternator. I would like to know some info if you still have the car. I'd also be interested in 352 motors if you have them. It was about the same time period. If not, the Galaxy is still fine with a 289. It's just rare to see one around. Please let me know, I deal with every make and model Ford. I'm especially interested in older parts.
