Default 17's to 18's

I have stock 17 in bullits and want to get new wheels, if i go with 18's the lower profile tire keeps the diameter close to the same correct? therefor no change in speedometer and doesnt make the car any slower right? also is there a big weight difference for 18's than 17 inch wheels, thanks

Yes, the lower profile tire with the 18" size will keep your speedo and odometer reading properly. On average 18" wheels do weigh more than 17" but wheel construction plays a large part in that. An 18" forged wheel can be lighter than a 17" cast wheel.

The weight all depends on the wheels. I know my 18's are heavier than my stock 17's, and I'm sure it slowed me down some, but it looks so much better.

Oh, and be ready to shell out a lot more for tires when you go up to the 18 inch diameter.
