yeah it was a pretty easy install except for the bolts under the grille sort of a pain. Now im just afraid of scraping the spoiler! My car is silver and it makes the front end look really clean and sharp. Although I think it looks the best on a black car
do you need a torque wrench to take off the stock behind the grill molding thing.. i dont know what its called. its black rubber stuff. it is replaced by the kit. i think it is held on by a torque screw.. anyone know what size torque wrench it is?? i cant get it off!!!
nevermind, i got frustrated so i cut the old grill out.. i love the phillips head screws that came with the kit.. so much easier.. i love the combo!.. ill begin posting pics shortly when i get a dig. camera.
I think they do make chin spoilers that are bigger!!! check out the 1999 Boss Shinoda R600 mustang... i htink you can buy the boss shinoda chin spoiler, it looks bigger than the mach 1 chin spoiler... heres a link

Do you guys have any problems with ur chin spoiler being too low? My car is not lowered at all! Would i be safe putting it on. I dont want to be scrapping it like i did with my bodykit on my other car.
just dont pull up too far when parking or you might scrape. also, when turning into driveways on hills, go on an angle so you dont scrape. in normal driving conditions however, dont worry about scraping. speedbumps are fine as well.
I have an 04' GT and bought the grill delete parts from ford (2...the cover over the bolt holes and horse emblem). I see other kits have 3 pieces. Do i need the 3rd piece? Also mine came without hardware. Anyone know were I can get the correct hardware?
