Not really a post, but this happened today, and well, i, i am sure most of you will to, thought this was hilarious. Ive always had a stang, turned 16, had a hunter green V6, 6 months later, i got a Burgundy V6 Convert, now one of my REALLY good friends had an explorer but its breaking down BAD, so he calls me this morning and says dude, ive gotta show you this car i wanna buy, so im like yea whatever meet me at my house in like 20 minutes, he gets here and we left, he said he liked mustangs and he wanted one so i told him some styles, showed him the differences from the 94-98 and the 99-04, just little stuff to see what he wanted. He told me he found an Oxford White 98 Cobra SVT with 88k miles for 10k, so i was like, show me that s**t. So we go look at it and hes all like ima get the guy to let me test drive it and see if i want it, so we get there and the guy isnt home..so hes all mad and hes like god da***t, o well we will come back tomorrow. So i was like ok w/e. Then...as were driving away from a BADA$$ COBRA SVT, he says ima show you this other car its a 1999 Honda Civic..its got a VTEC!!!! HAHAHA What a way to completely SWITCH DECISIONS. it aint even a 1.6L, i was like..wow, what a name drop..you got what a 1.6L? And he goes..no i think its 1.2L, if that exists in that car, either way, its DINKY. He thinks his car stock and my car stock will run about the same in a 1/8 mile. Since we leave near a drag strip, were goin if he buys it, and ima show him some serious power. Not calling my car a BEAST again to offend anyone. But, well, think about it, 2000 V6 mustang, pretty light, aerodynamic, a lil bit of torque...VS. a 1999 1.2L VTEC Civic...Come on NOWWWWW!
Sure does Xemeth, do it make you feel good knowing you can talk sh*t from behind a computer? Does it feel good that you can TRY and bag on other people because your life and car are so fuc**** lame?
I'm not bagging on your car. You're just making it sound like you have some 10 second monster that rules the road, when you're happy about beating a 1.2L economy car. Set your goals a bit higher...

the civic since its a 99 and has vtec most likely its an EX, so it has 127hp 107tq ...and weighs 2,513lbs not to mention the gearing in a honda is short as hell comparative to a steeply geared stang
in short your stang will probably beat the honda but you wont "dominate" it as you assume will be the case
for future reference it is a 1.6L, there is no 1.2l honda motor or w/e you came up with. he simply has a sohc vtec d16y8 where as the 1999-2000 Si's had the dohc vtec b16a2's with 160hp

Oh, i never said my car would whomp it, i said i have a car available to me to whomp it, if he wants to he can drive down to florida, meet me at the dragstrip, ill show his little modded gt some serious freakin power. Ill even let him choose which car he wants to get smoked in. My dads 1977 Camaro Z28 with a 351 w/e...or..my uncle Casey's 06 Shelby GT500. Now that my friend Xemeth, is some SERIOUS ruling the road power. But then again, its not mine so i cant entirely brag about it, but i am a noob, lookin to do a few mods and ask some questions, and ur gonna sit here and run your mouth. Haha, now YOU make me giggle. Come down to florida, we will videotape this domination, but then again, i dont wanna brag because then someone will compare the cars, and your gt will be the 1.2L economy car, asking me if i felt good dominating it. Well i sure would, just to shut you up. come down in about a week, the gt500 is parked for insurance reasons, it got icepicked in a albertsons parking lot, but the camaro is ready to go if you want to try that.

Being as i SAID my car is stock, i said i DIDNT wanna make it sound ferocious. And still, Xemeth finds it so amusing to say his car his so much more powerful, ive had mine 2 weeks, im 16, what could a 16 yr old possibly do to a car in 2 weeks without his parents giving him all the money in the world? If hes gonna brag about his car against a stock V6, he needs to be shut up, and if i have a car i can drive/race him with. Ill do it. Not to diss anyone who DID provide information, but the past 3 days ive had basicly no help what so ever. Aside from a few people who did answer quesitons, all it is is people having there cars for a while, dissing on the lil guy who just bought a stock v6. This site provides no help from anyone except a few people. What a waste of time. So you got a Modded GT, So you gotted a Modded V6, who cares, just cause you do means you can be a fu****g a$$? Good god, you guys are the one's who have no friends, no life, because no one wants to talk to you or ask you for help on anything. Though your car is modded, and im sure its nice, its a waste of a fuc****g mustang with a dic*head like you behind it.
Wow... Calm down...V6Stang.. your the one making yourself look like a dumbass... I know its annoying when people make quip little remarks.. but like ive learned over time... its an internet forum let **** go... He wasnt saying anything bad about you or your car... but obviously you dont know that there is more to racing than power... you can make a heavier car push 500hp and have a lighter car that doesnt push as much but it will still beat the 500hp car in some circumstances.
Just sit back and realize that you may have said some things that arent 100% correct and learn from it. Also think about the new things youve learned, Stock V6 and serious power dont go together lol and engine power isnt always everything.

well v6stang guy, I read your post completely and I was entertained. I don't mind it being here in tech as a kind of "aside." I especially appreciate the part about your friend making a comparison, a perhaps not so informed decision: a Cobra or a Civic. hmmmm. I thinkk I know where I'd go.
You may also want to stop and appreciate your friend's situation a little: like you said he's gotta big honking SUV that's falling apart and he's needing to get a ride soon. Be supportive of him. Guide him to the right decision. That's what friends are for.

Well, I stopped replying cause it was mainly V6Stang throwing a hissy fit, but just to make myself not seem like an ass to everyone else, cause I'm not: All I ever said to him at first was a V6 mustang was not a beast, then he threw a hissy fit saying "I think it's a beast, I want it to look good, you think I'm a ricer, blah blah blah". So when he told me to **** off on an online forum (ya know, cause that will keep me out of his topic ), I figured I'd have some fun with him, and he's doing exactly what I wanted him to. What a tool.
Oh, and I'm not automatically mean to noobs. It just depends on how they make their first impression. This noob was really polite and not coming in like he was "the ****" with his "beastly" V6 Mustang.

Like I said, I started ****ing with him after he got all pissy cause I said his car wasn't a beast. Anyone who takes offense to someone on an online forum is an easy target to get their balls broken. Now he's saying he won't flip out at me cause he knows that's what I'm trying to make him do.
I'm getting kind of tired of this game now, so I think I'll back off from replying to this or any of his other topics unless he totally sets himself up again (which I'm sure he will, lol).
