His loss???? Why should the dealer pay for his loss the airbag had nothing to do with it. Idiot??? LoL im not the one telling a person to go sue a dealership when we all know he has no chance of winning!!! God some of ya are IDIOTS!!

Ok compensate him for his loss give him a working airbag and tell him to go find a car to put it in thats the only comp he should get.

He doesnt have to bring up a lawsuit. He needs to have the car inspected first. What if he got in a serious accident and the airbags didnt deploy... How is he supposed to know they dont work. If they airbags didnt work would he have bought the car? no... SO using logic.. the dealership should take the responsibility and do something because they got lucky he didnt get hurt, if he had gotten injured it would be another story and you all would be singing another tune... Stop acting like the world is so unjust because people sue companies due to safety failure... Just because he didnt get hurt doesnt mean the dealership should get off with not inspecting their airbag systems...

you wouldn't happen to have eibachs on there would ya?

sorry bout the car man.  My stang hates rain too.  I've spun out in the rain twice, once on purpose in a parking lot and I did about 3/4 of a 360, and the other time I took a corner at 20mph in the rain, and my back end came around and I ended up on the sidewalk.  luckily it was a ramped curb, so no damage was done.
