Default Mustang Crash!

Hey guys, well this really suxs, my mustang... is pretty much totaled and i dont even know what steps to take from here. I was on i95 going 60 my car hydroplaned i spun and i hit the wall, the front is pretty much gone!, Here are pics http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y23...stang%20Crash/ so now i dont know if i should get it repaired, sell it, or junk it. Give me ideas guys what should i do? I only had PIP coverage so insurance is worthless, and also interestingly enough my airbags did not deploy. Help me out!

If sell it for parts... what my best option, and much could i get? How do i go about this?

Glad you are ok.
Unless you've got a lot of extra cash stuffed under your bed, I'd part it out and look for a new car.

Sorry to hear about it. Ive had close encounters in my first mustang also. Mustangs seem to not like the rain at all and if you push em even 15 mph around a turn, you hit the gas and your car is gonna go a complete 360. If you got some cash then id repair it or get a new one. If not, then id scrap it and sell the parts, if your gonna sell parts you mind listing some of the parts your car has that are unharmed?

Ive hydroplaned MANY times in my car.. but i had bald tires too.

Anyway, you may be in luck my friend. Did you buy your mustang from a Dealership? if so youmay be abletosue them for not making sure they sold you a car with working airbags. This happened to my friend, she was doing a stupid 90 mph going down to Oregon and she FLIPPED her Jetta and the airbags didnt deploy and shebroke her neck but got tons of money lol.

Glad to hear youre ok. Cars can be replaced people cant.....

Also, if you dont mind me asking, what size and kind of tire were you running on the back end of your car?

I dont agree with V-6stang16, my car handles just fine in the rain. Ive gone 100+ in the rain. Its all in the tires. If you have tires that are suited for it then you shouldnt have to worry about it too much. I ALWAYS buy rain specific tires for the summer, because hydroplaning sux. Happend to me once in an escort. A 1/2" wide bald strip on the inside of the tire caused it. The car wound up on its roof.
