When I bought my car, the driveshaft was already changed to aluminum. I like the idea of it being lighter, but very doubtful I would have replaced it myself. As the rotating mass is lighter, the motorshould rev-up a little faster. Iam surethat it will, but would be really curious for a real-life example of someone who had driven a car both ways. I, on the other hand, have never even considered going both ways !
Lots of mods but have not changed shaft yet. To many horror stories about vibration, so i will wait a little longer till things get sorted out. With a Saleen sitting so low 4" shafts rub on the tub, 3.5" are ok though. I noticed a nice change when i put in the Aluminum flywheel, so i am sure a lighter shaft would be a nice addition.

Jazzer on Carlos Beltran
(ok, mills. not too tough, but give it a try....)
Is it because Beltran is a switch-hitter.......or, are we talking movies here? If it's movies......I'm stumped []!
