It all depends what you want to do. Personally i like the Evo better. The STI has a tad bit more power but it supposedly also handles better also. I just love the Evo...lol...not sure why.

They are a tad bit pricey as well. There's more room in the Evo's back seat with the Recaro's all the way back than there is in my Dad's Ford truck...lol

Guys, the Mach 1 is quick, but stock it only dips into a high 13(something like 13.8-13.9). In other words, pay 24-25 for a new GT, add 500 bucks in mods, and you have a car equal to a mach 1's times

uhh thats where you're wrong. i'm seeing mach 1's going for cheaper than that 25k you most likely paid for your gt (ps you can get gt's for like 21-22k). mach 1 has a better base to start off with the over 305 hp and the DOHC. your idea is ok, but really the mach 1's are going for dirt now cause dealers just wanna drop em now. im seeing em for like 22k.

sorry for double posting, but jugador, I only financed 18 for my GT due to getting the d plan, and yes, NOW you can get a great deal on the Mach 1, because they gotta move them. The GT advertises for 21-22k because thats with the current 3,000 rebate for GT's. You could have got a GT for 21-22k 8 months ago if you had no negative equity on a trade.

Theres alot of what-ifs, but I don't see how they can race them differently and cause a .8sec or so difference. It just don't happen, they don't want to get made fun of for not knowing how to race a car when thats what they do. No arguement intended, this is what the forum thing is for right?
