So, how heavy is that stock clutch? Heavy duty compared to what? Have you ran slicks on your stock clutch? I'm just having fun with this, but you act like you have the coolest thing since sliced bread because you have a SR-T 4. I've been in to turbo cars for some time now. You act like you stubled in to something new and that I don't know s**t. You know nothing about me,or what cars I have had, or how long I have been playing with cars. A 20 thousand dollar low 14s car is cool, but it isn't exacly to die for. Also, it looks like a 20K car. It will probably hold up like a 20K car. It isn't some magical car that God built that will stay togeather forever.

I give up jeep your just a f**k nut that enjoys nothing other than to try and boost yourself up by telling others their wrong. Not once do I remember you saying anything helpful, just your abrasive and most of the time disrespectful remarks. Half the things you say only hold half truths, the other half is just being talked out of your ass and you make it up. Have you ever actually turned a wrench on anything besides that Saturn? Judging by your over abundance of obvious book reading and your total lack of common sense, I think not. Go bark up someone elses tree, and if you don't have anything nice to say to me then don't say it at all. Manners.
Oh, and to everyone else who reads this, I apologize, this should have been in a PM but I wanted to ensure everyone knows how I feel about this guy now. I tried to give him an out and to do the right thing. Opinions are one thing, but the way he acts is another.

mdvaldosta, wasnt it you who wanted to not turn this into some seething personal argumentative forum? And your name calling like a 7th grade girl. Everyone has their opinions, so discuss them, no use arguing, especially over the internet, what rubbish.

you stated that you cant run slicks with a stock clutch. if you look it shows all of their mods. all stock transmissions. i dont even think they make aftermarket clutches for our cars yet. clutchmaster might have, but i dont think so. im not trying to post times. im trying to post people who run SLICKS with a STOCK CLUTCH. Please read before you open your mouth. not sure how heavy duty our clutches are. some people have had some problems with their clutches going before 10,000 miles. then there are people who abuse them every day and go to the track quite often with no problems at all. mine hasnt had any problems yet. i only have 7,000 miles on my car so i cant really compare. . its amazing how you took my last post as i was showing off our 1/4 miles times with our cars. Do you know how to read?? Maybe you can read but your just really stupid. Either way i dont know how i can prove this more to you other than going to the peoples house and ripping out the clutch and taking pictures or for you to be there in person. either way yopur wrong, just fess up. quit being a little baby
Yes I can read. However, you can't aswer a simple question. Just because someone is running a stock clutch, doesn't mean it is the clutch that came with the car. You see, you can order a new one if the original one goes out.
You have not told me how heavy your stock clutch is. I have come to the conclution that you have no clue what so ever and you can only repeat what you hear and post links to what other people have done.
Have fun with with your car for what it is. If you runs slicks, be prepared to be changing a clutch. That is all I was tring to say.
I'm just having fun with this. It's funny. Sounds like a word of mouth tuner to me though. So and so did it, so it must be okay. Doesn't mean it will hold up very long.
I could take a brand new EVO out and get some good 0-60' times, but I bet the clutch would fail on the 10th run.
What do I run? Don't know. Spent the summer installing new brakes, tranny rebuild, t-belt-water pump. I can pull on a new Stang, so it is fun enough. I can pull about 3 car lenths on the top of 2nd on a 95-98 stang GT, but that isn't saying too much One even had k&n and flowmaster stickers on it. Ohhhh.
Drive what you got and enjoy it for what it is. There is ALWAYS someone faster.
saw this on the srt forums site i know an srt 4 four banger wow but aleast us americans can say we have something to kick the imports asses with in stock form well here is
VID* SRTGURL vs. VIPER
Finally, we have the video working of me racing the Viper, (he is now registered on this site as 92RT10). It was truly a pleasure to meet him and to race his beautiful mint 1992 Viper! I thank him for giving me the pleasure of racing him and because he took my advise of signing up to become a member of this forum.
92RT10: We all respect the Viper so much and would love to continue to see you post on this forum! Please, if you can, post some pics of your Viper!
Yesterday, Oct. 18th at New England Dragway, it was Corvette Viper challenge day. I decided to go because there was open test and tune all day long and we just wanted to see the Vipers and Vettes play!
I was running 18 psi, put in 3 gallons of 104 octane just as an insurance policy against detonation, no weight reduction except spare tire. I weighed in at 2978lbs with me in the car!
I just had a CAI prototype fitted to my car from Custom Tubes Inc, the same place that designed the 3" turboback exhaust for my car (it's not complete but I will post all details of it when it's finished including price, etc).
I was also using the new SPP o2 housing from acr2nv. Dazone bought it from him and then graciously gave it to me! Since putting it on with the 3" turboback exhaust, I have much greater throttle response and also picked up about 10HP from it too! Thanks again to you two, especially Dazone for being so generous!
The main reason why I was able to get an ET of 12.654@109mph is due to the fact that the track was actually prepped well yesterday for the event. I cut my best 60' ~ 1.886.
My run was my best time, but it was also 92RT10's best time too! It was his first 12 second run. After the run we drove over to tech and gave each other a handshake and a hug for a great race! It was truly the most exciting race I've ever had!

yeah srt4gurls car is fast. alot of companies are using her car to use their protoype parts on it. i did find out some more info about our clutches. They are rated at about 280-300 tq. theres quite a few people who are above that who have not replaced their clutch. i was saying that alot of people are running slicks on the stock clutch (the original) i will continue to do so until mine goes. I also fopund out our internals are good for around 450-500 hp. we have a company www.apgturbo.com who is building a turbo upgrade kit for our cars that will support over 400hp. i believe they will be using a gtseries garrett turbo. I think it was the gt30 or something like that. they never offivially told but thats what were guessing. so our aftermarket is growing everyday so hopefully we can finally break into the 11's and 10's. most likely on stock internals. as for is how my car runs. i dont know. i went to the track last week but i threw a code so i never got the chance to race. i will be going this wednesday though. if i can get the launching down right i could very easily hit a 13.5 and maybe even lower. people hit a 13.7 stock so with my mods it shouldnt be a problem. Knowing me i will probably choke and make myself look bad. i guess ill just have to find out wednesday.

Very cheap!!! Good way to get a quick car if you can't afford the real thing, but I am siding with Jugador on this. They are SO ugly! Saw one pull up at a light and they really do have an ugly stance. But I hope you enjoy it for its 80,000 mile life!
