My buddy finished his '69 Z28 this week so last night we lined up and went at it, I beat him by 2 cars but he had a 200lb passenger and the carb needs tweaking so after he gets that resolved it should be an even race.
While going at it with him an '06 GTO wanted to play, my guess is he must have been close to stock because I put a few bus lengths on him.
Also, there were more cops than cars out last night, me and my buddy were lucky we didn't get pulled over, there was one run from a light where we got off of it a block before the cop and he let us go by, talk about luck!

Not to worry. in the months that I was on the GTO board a Mustang never won.

I've met quite a few '06 GTO owners, a few were vey cocky but most were cool, and they all said they should run 12's stock even though most hadn't been to the track so they believed the internet hype. Whn I beat them before the blower it was "impossible" and after the blower the point became moot except for the ones that said I would lose no matter what. The GTO I ran here I started out behind and drove around, it was loud and might have run with me pretty good when I had the CAI and tune. When I passed him he just looked at me as I blew by him, I was surprised that he kept going.

If I ever lose to one, I'll gladly post it, my guess is most that do lose choose not to post about it, just like the GTO owners never post a loss at their own forum.

bus lengths my ass. i raced one at the track, it ran a 12.9 and your car runs a 12.3 so where in thehell do you get bus lengths, maybe he wasnt even trying
