I bought my GT for $6000. So I basically spent $1000 for a car 2 years older, but with 30k less miles, and its a V8.

Sounds like a deal to me...............now all you have to do is get those sluggish NPI heads out and you're set.

well all the non-pi GTs i've raced, I've beaten. what drove you to buy a V8? I was actually looking into a 94-98 Cobra a month or so ago, but then I realized I didnt have any money. congrats on the purchase, enjoy the deep rumble

It has a CAI, wires/plugs, almost brand new clutch, Flows, and a pretty new paint job. And it only had 62k miles. The engine bay is as clean as my friends 05' GTO (which he babies beyond belief). For a 96', thats pretty unbelievable.
